HBOS Final Salary Pension Scheme is a private sector pension fund that provides a defined benefit plan for the employees of the Lloyds Banking Group and its subsidiaries. HBOS was created in 2001, following the merger of Halifax and the Bank of Scotland. In 2009, HBOS and HBOS Final Salary Pension Scheme were taken over by Lloyds Banking Group.
