Greater Gwent Torfaen Pension Fund provides retirement and health benefits for its members and their relatives based in Torfaen and the Greater Gwent region of Wales. The system is also a part of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). Since April 2018, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/272379>Wales Pension Partnership</a> started operating as the investment pool for pension schemes in Wales, having Greater Gwent (Torfaen) Pension Fund as a constituent fund. A phased transition of assets will continue until all legacy investments have been liquidated and transferred under the control of the investment pool.
