GoldPoint Partners (previously named New York Life Capital Partners) was a subsidiary of New York Life Investment Management. The firm managed the alternative asset investment activities of third-party institutional clients and New York Life Insurance Company. GoldPoint Partners focused on co-investment, mezzanine, and limited partnership investing in leveraged acquisitions, recapitalizations, and growth capital transactions. The firm raised a range of private equity vehicles including buyout, expansion, mezzanine, and fund of funds. The firm invested in companies across the world. The firm changed its name, New York Life Capital Partners to GoldPoint Partners in December 2012. The firm continued to be an independent investment boutique under New York Life Insurance Company’s ownership. As of April 2022, Goldpoint Partners has merged with Apogem Capital, PA Capital, and Madison Capital.
