About

Ghana Heritage Fund (GHF) is a Ghanaian sovereign wealth fund designed to preserve oil revenues for the benefit of future generations. GHF serves as a savings fund aimed at creating wealth for future Ghanaian generations, with a long investment horizon, the capacity to take on higher risk, and the potential to capitalize on illiquidity premiums. The Ghana Petroleum Funds (GPF) consist of two sovereign wealth funds: the Ghana Stabilization Fund (GSF) and the Ghana Heritage Fund (GHF). The GSF focuses on cushioning the national budget against oil revenue volatility and maintaining public expenditure in the face of unexpected revenue shortfalls.
