About

Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is a nonprofit organization with the goal of enhancing and preserving Georgia O'Keeffe's (1887–1966) creative legacy for the benefit of the general public. The foundation's goals included preserving O'Keeffe's creative output, distributing her belongings, which included more than a thousand paintings, sketches, and photos, and converting her studio and home in Abiquiu, New Mexico, from a private household to a historical house museum. Through creative public interaction, teaching, and research, the Museum maintains, displays, and promotes the artistic heritage of Georgia O'Keeffe and Modernism in order to inspire all current and future generations.
