Freeport Minerals Corporation Retirement Plan is a defined benefit plan in which eligible salaried and certain non-bargained hourly employees of Freeport Minerals Corporation and its participating subsidiaries participate upon meeting certain service requirements. The plan provides pension, death, and disability benefits for participants and beneficiaries. Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (FCX) is a natural resources company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. FCX operates geographically diverse assets with reserves of copper, gold, molybdenum, oil, and natural gas. The company is a producer of publicly traded copper, molybdenum, gold, oil, and natural gas. Effective January 1, 2015, the name of the Plan was changed from the Freeport-McMoRan Corporation Pension Plan to the Freeport Minerals Corporation Retirement Plan.
