About

Fairfax County Employees' Retirement System (FCERS) is a single employer defined benefit pension plan that covers employees of the County and its component units. FCERS covers full-time and certain part-time County, Public Schools, the Economic Development Authority, the Park Authority, and Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority employees who are not covered by other plans of the County or the Virginia Retirement System. The retirement system consists of four Options: A, B, C, and D, which have different employee contribution rates and benefits.
