About

Established in June 1997, Energy Industries Superannuation Scheme (EISS Super) is a non-profit institution that provides its members with superannuation, retirement, education, and financial advisory services. The Australia-based firm was exclusively available for employees of the energy industry in New South Wales before it opened its fund to the public in 2013. In April 2021, EISS Super announced it had entered a Memorandum of Understanding to explore a potential merger with TWU Super. However, as of October 2021, the merger did not push through as the board of the energy workers' super fund decided to review the merger. In December 2021, EISS Super and CBUS Super signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)to work towards completing a merger in 2022.
