About

Credit Suisse Alternative Funds Solutions was a global alternative asset management company that was involved in private equity, hedge funds, and related activities. The company had several businesses under its umbrella, including the Fund and Alternative Solutions hedge fund of funds group, Quantitative Strategies, and Volaris. They also managed a diverse family of private equity funds, such as leveraged buyout funds, mezzanine funds, core and opportunity real estate funds, secondary funds, CDOs, and fund-of-fund businesses. On 12 June 2023, the Board of Directors of UBS Group AG approved the execution of a merger of UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG. Following approvals from their respective Boards, both entities have entered into a definitive merger agreement. UBS continues to prepare for the planned merger of UBS Switzerland AG and Credit Suisse (Schweiz) AG also in 2024.
