About

The core business of Crédit Agricole Asset Management Capital Investors (CAAM CI) was the management of private equity fund of funds for institutional and retail investors. It was founded in 1999 under the name CPR Private Equity. In 2004, it became a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Asset Management Alternative Investment (CAAM AI), and changed its name to Crédit Agricole Asset Management Capital Investors (CAAM CI) in April 2006. CAAM CI provides private equity investment products to its investors allowing diversification to their portfolios. In December 2009, Crédit Agricole Asset Management Capital Investors and SGAM Private Equity merged to form Amundi Private Equity Funds, a subsidiary of Amundi Asset Management. Amundi Private Equity Funds now manages all private equity funds previously raisied by CAAM CI as well as its private equity investment portfolio.
