Corient is a US-based wealth manager and registered investment adviser. It provides investment advisory services to its clients on a discretionary and non-discretionary basis. The services include tax preparation, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance, and investment management. The firm advises high-net-worth individuals, trusts and estates, charitable organizations, pension and profit-sharing plans, corporations and other business entities, and other entities. In 2019, CI Financial Corp acquired Surevest Wealth Management, and CI Private Wealth in the U.S. was later rebranded as Corient. In 2021, CI Financial acquired Columbia Pacific Wealth Management, Gofen and Glossberg, R.H. Bluestein & Co., Radnor Financial Advisors, and Barrett Asset Management. In 2023, Corient acquired RGT Wealth Advisors, followed by Windsor Wealth Management in Q4 of the same year. In 2024, Corient acquired Socius Family Office in Q2, Byron Financial and EMFO in Q3. In 2025, Corient acquired Geller Advisors and Rootstock, and further expanded in Q3 2025 with the acquisition of Northeast Financial, a Westport, Connecticut-based multi-family office, followed by Bristlecone Advisors, a Bellevue, Washington-based multi-family office, in Q4 2025. In Q1 2026, Corient acquired Palo Alto Wealth Advisors, a Palo Alto, California-based wealth manager and registered investment advisor.Read more ⏷
