About

Citi is one of the world’s leading banking and financial services groups. Citi was established as Citibank nearly 200 years ago and today manages 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 100 countries. Citi is the largest foreign banking and financial services Group operating in Israel and has been actively serving Israeli clients for the past 20 years through the Investment Banking arm (formerly Salomon Smith Barney). In 1996, Citi Investment Banking established its office in Israel working with Israeli companies on international offerings and cross-border M&A. Citibank established a representative office in 1996 in Israel and in July 2000 Citibank became the first international bank with a full banking license to offer a range of services to its clients in Israel.
