About

Established in 2008 by Chongqing Science and Technology Commission, Chongqing Angel Investment Guidance Fund (CQAIGF) was formerly known as Chongqing Technology Venture Capital Guidance Fund. It invests in private equity funds that support regional development in Chongqing, China. CQAIGF has received initial funding of Rmb1bn from the Chongqing government, followed by additional funds every three years for investment. CQAIGF is a subsidiary of Chongqing Venture Capital Association. Chongqing Venture Capital Association has a separate private equity arm, Chongqing Venture Capital, which invests directly via its own balance sheet in companies operating in high-tech sectors such as clean technology, biomedical, medical technologies, materials and renewable energy based in the Chongqing region.
