Chevron Technology Ventures, formerly ChevronTexaco Technology Ventures Investments, is Chevron’s venture capital funds of funds arm that is responsible for identifying new technologies that might enhance Chevron’s strategies. The firm makes investments across all venture stages into companies possessing technology that can create value for Chevron. Chevron Technology Ventures invests in early-stage technology companies and venture capital funds that focus on the energy and power sectors. Areas of particular interest include oil and gas, emerging/alternative energy, advanced materials, communications, networking and information technologies across the US.
