About

CDP Equity is an Italian sovereign wealth fund based in Milan. The firm mainly acquires minority stakes in companies of significant national interest that are in a stable situation of economic and financial balance and have adequate profitability and significant growth prospects such as generating value for investors. CDP Equity is a member of the IFSWF (International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds). On March 31, 2016, the Shareholders’ Meeting of FSI (owned 80% by CDP, 20% by Bank of Italy) changed the company’s name from Fondo Strategico Italiano to CDP Equity. CDP Equity is part of the CDP Group. Its majority shareholder is CDP Spa. On December 31, 2022, CDP Industria has merged into CDP Equity, which now holds all its assets.
