About

Northwest Carpenters Retirement Plan is a multiemployer defined-benefit plan that covers eligible members of local unions formerly under the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters. This private-sector pension fund provides participants with retirement, disability, and death benefits. It is headquartered in Seattle, Washington. On June 14, 2024, the Board of Trustees voted to merge the plan with another, effective December 31, 2024. The Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters has merged with the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters, an affiliate of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC). The Western States Regional Council is an association of local unions representing workers in the carpentry and joinery trades across Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, and Alaska.
