Established in 1962, Carpenters' Benefits Funds of Philadelphia & Vicinity was a multiemployer defined-benefit plan covering eligible Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters union members. The private sector pension fund provided participants with retirement, disability, and death benefits. It was located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters is a diverse labor union representing workers from different trades such as general carpentry, pile driving, trade show, interior design, mill cabinet, and millwrights. It comprises 25 local unions from southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware. The plan merged with Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Fund as of January 1, 2023.
