About

Candriam is a Luxembourg-based fund-of-hedge-funds manager and private equity firm established in 1996. The firm employs strategies across fixed income, equities, alternatives, sustainable investments, and asset allocation, with a global focus on sectors such as biotechnology, insurance, financial services, retail, real estate, information technology, healthcare, and energy & utilities. Its main objective is to deliver recurring performance over time, adjusted for risk and aligned with market cycles. Candriam was previously known as Dexia Asset Management. In February 2014, New York Life Investments acquired Dexia Asset Management, which is now known as Candriam. In May 2020, Candriam launched its first private equity fund-of-funds vehicle, Candriam Impact I, targeting impact funds in Europe. In July 2020, Candriam acquired the multi-asset management business of Rothschild & Co.
