The asset manager focuses on investments in venture and growth capital in UK markets. In April 2025, British Patient Capital was brought back under the management of British Business Bank and ceased to be an independent entity. However, as of July 2025, British Patient Capital still retained and managed its own investment portfolio separately from British Business Bank.
