Border to Coast is a public pension fund pool headquartered in Leeds, UK. It is the collective investment pool for eleven existing UK Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS). It combines assets from <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/11102>Cumbria Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/4817>East Riding Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/3452>Surrey County Council Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/10277>Warwickshire Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/3497>Lincolnshire County Council Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/4882>North Yorkshire Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/2415>South Yorkshire Pensions Authority</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/2268>Tyne and Wear Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/12305>Durham County Council Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/15992>Bedfordshire Pension Fund</a>, and <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/2269>Teesside Pension Fund</a>. In July 2015, the UK government announced that it would work with the Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS) to reform the way investments are managed. As part of the reform, the government ordered the 91 Local Government Pension Schemes to combine assets into large investment pools. In 2018, the pension partnership became an FCA-authorised investment company upon its establishment. In August 2025, six public pension funds that were previously part of the <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/272381>ACCESS</a> pool announced that they would move to Border to Coast. <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/2274>Cambridgeshire County Council Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/2282>East Sussex County Council Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/2089>Essex County Council Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/4709>Hertfordshire County Council Pension Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/5810>Kent County Council Superannuation Fund</a>, <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/5099>Northamptonshire County Council Pension Fund</a>, and <a href=https://pro.preqin.com/investor/5784>West Sussex Pension Fund</a> planned to formally join Border to Coast by April 2026.
