About

Headquartered in Boston Massachusetts, Bank of America Global Capital Management managed private fund of funds investment vehicles on behalf of third party institutional investors and private clients. It was a part of the Global Wealth and Investment Management Alternative Investments Group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In November 2006, the Charles Schwab Corporation announced an agreement to sell the US Trust Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schwab, to the Bank of America Corporation. The sale involved all of the US Trust’s subsidiaries, including the Excelsior Funds’ investment advisers, UST Advisers (USTA) and the United States Trust Company National Association, on behalf of its asset management division, US Trust New York Asset Management (USTNA). In July 2007, USTA and USTNA merged with the Bank of America. On April 15, 2016, Bank of America Corporation transferred Bank of America Global Capital Management's investment management responsibilities, including the management of certain BofA funds, to BlackRock Inc.
