About
Founded in 1931, Banca IMI was the investment bank of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group and arose as a result of the merger of Banca Caboto and Banca IMI. It operated in the areas of investment banking, capital markets, and structured finance in the main domestic and international markets through its offices in Milan, Rome, London, and Banca IMI Securities Corp. in New York. In July 2020, Banca IMI was fully merged into Intesa San Paolo and no longer exists as a separate entity.
