Established in 1993, Avalon Portfolio seeks to achieve long-term growth of capital by allocating to both conventional and non-traditional asset classes across the globe. Avalon Portfolio is charged with allocating to these asset classes with the goal of generating high returns with modest volatility and low correlation to domestic equity markets. Its investment process is guided by its long-term view of global trends and capital market dynamics. It frequently challenges every aspect of the portfolio structure and seeks to be dynamic enough to take advantage of and respond to changes in economic and capital market trends. Avalon Portfolio is owned by Avalon Capital Group, the wholly-owned private investment company of Ted Waitt, co-founder of Gateway.
