Asstel Group was founded in 1998 as Gothaer Group’s specialist for the direct sale of insurance and financial services. The insurance products are made available by the following subsidiaries: Asstel Krankenversicherung (health insurance), Asstel Lebensversicherung (life insurance), and Asstel Sachversicherung (property insurance). Asstel Group was merged with <a href=https://www.preqin.com/user/privateequity/investors/profile/2420>Gothaer Insurance Company</a> in 2017.
