About

Arkansas Public Employees’ Retirement System (APERS) is a public pension fund formerly called the “Arkansas State Employees Retirement System”, it originally provided retirement benefits for state employees only. Over the years, county, municipal, college and university, and non-teaching public school employers all joined the System, which now provides both contributory and non-contributory benefit plans to its members. APERS also manages the Arkansas District Judges Retirement System and the Arkansas State Police Retirement System.
