About

AP Alternative Portfolio was established as UBS Alternative Portfolio AG (UBS AP) in October 2000 as an independent alternative investment portfolio owned by institutional investors and shareholders. Regulations affecting UBS saw the firm publically listed in September 2014, a move that also resulted in it being renamed AP Alternative Portfolio AG. Historically, the firm invested in both private equity and hedge funds, but as of July 2015 had ceased investing and was in wind down mode.
