Antares Capital is a US-based private debt firm providing financing solutions to middle-market private equity-backed transactions. The firm looks for investment opportunities in the US and globally. In 2005, GE Capital acquired Antares. From 2005-2015, Antares focused solely on private equity-sponsored, middle-market senior debt financings. Later in 2015, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) acquired Antares from GE.
