Established in 1849, AMP Investments is a wealth manager based in Australia. The specialist wealth management company consisting of AMP's wealth business services. This includes the Multi-Asset Group and AMP's superannuation products. This profile excludes information on AMP's fund management division AMP Capital Investors. In July 2012, AMP acquired Cavendish Group's self-managed superannuation fund and investment portfolio administration operations. In January 2014, AMP underwent restructuring to streamline its operations. AMP Financial Services, previously one of two key business units of AMP, with the other being AMP Capital Investors, became known as AMP and non-AMP Capital. It is a provider of a wide range of personal and business insurance including life, vehicle and farm work, and public liability claims. It also offers financial planning advice, superannuation, bank deposits, and loans for customers in Australia and New Zealand. In May 2022, AMP created the AMP Investments arm to represent its wealth management business. The creation of AMP Investments also involved the transfer of the Multi-Asset Group, which originally fell under AMP Capital. The Multi-Asset Group's portfolio is included in this profile.
