White Elm Capital (White Elm) was a Connecticut-based global long/short equity hedge fund manager founded by Matthew Iorio in 2007. White Elm invested in diversified sectors globally in developed and emerging markets. The firm identified both long and short investments across all market caps. White Elm aimed to generate returns that were superior to the broad equity market averages while taking less risk. In December of 2019, the firm returned its capital to outside investors.
