Watershed Asset Management

Watershed Asset Management was a San Francisco-based asset management firm founded in 2002 by Meridee Moore. Prior to founding Watershed, Ms. Moore was a partner for ten years at Farallon Capital Management and previously was a senior vice president in Lehman Brothers' investment banking division. Since inception, the firm focused on investing in value-oriented and event-driven debt and equity securities, primarily in US domestic and developed international markets. Watershed invested in marketable debt and equity securities including bank debt, high yield bonds, convertible bonds, credit default swaps, securitized assets, preferred stock, trade claims, and event and value equities. Its mandate was flexible enough to allow it to invest across geographies and up and down a company’s capital structure. Watershed did not use portfolio leverage to enhance returns.Read more ⏷
