Warrington Asset Management (Warrington) is a hedge fund manager based in Texas, established in 1997 by Scott Kimple. The firm is a discretionary alternative asset manager that focuses on trading option spreads on S&P 500 index futures. Before this year, it was an independent but affiliated group within Morgan Stanley for the last 18 years and was only available to clients. Warrington develops short-term market views based on technical and fundamental analysis, generally looking 3–4 weeks ahead and then expresses those views through ratio put and call spreads.
