Varenne Capital Partners (Varenne) is a research and process-driven hedge fund manager based in France, where it was founded by its current management team in 2003. The firm first operated as an advisor to VEGA Finance – a private banking unit of the CDC/CE Group – before establishing itself as a fully independent investment manager in 2007. Varenne manages a range of UCITS-compliant funds for institutional investors, family offices, private banks, and independent advisers. It uses both financial valuation and an economic quality rating assigned to each company in its analysis. All senior investment associates are shareholders or stock option holders in the firm and co-invest a significant portion of their wealth alongside long-standing clients in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
