Established in 1993, Värde Partners (“Värde”) is a U.S.-based fund manager that focuses on alternative investments across asset classes such as private equity, private debt, real estate, and hedge funds. Värde primarily seeks to invest in debt obligations of financially troubled companies, high-yield bonds, asset-backed securities, real estate, loans, and leases secured by a wide variety of collateral types, as well as commercial real estate. The firm employs a credit-oriented, value-based approach to investing across a broad array of geographies, segments, and asset types, including stressed and distressed corporate credit, structured products, residential mortgages, real estate, specialty finance, transportation, and infrastructure.
