Established in October 2021, Uluwatu is a Hong Kong-based, long-only hedge fund manager which makes long-term investments in entrepreneur-led, publicly-traded businesses across Asia. The firm employs a fundamentals-based, research-driven approach in our investment process, constructing a concentrated portfolio of 10-20 investments with a target holding period of 5+ years. The firm was founded in 2021 by Rob Sheridan, Chief Investment Officer, and Craig Lindsay, Chief Operating Officer. Rob began his career as a Private Investments Analyst at Global Endowment Management in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was subsequently a Principal at Ward Ferry Management in Hong Kong, where he spent 9 years analyzing public and private investments across Asia. Craig has over 40 years of experience in operations management roles - 30 of which have been in Asia - at firms including Goldman Sachs, Tokai Asia, CITIC Securities and China Alpha. Zhong ("Leo") Li joined the firm at its inception as an Investment Analyst. He was previously an investment banking analyst at UBS in Beijing, and subsequently was a Product Manager at Kuaishou Technology, the world's second largest short video and live streaming platform.
