Trutino Capital Management, LLC is an SEC and NFA registered investment advisor that was launched in 2017. Headquartered in midtown Manhattan, Trutino has four experienced partners with long-standing personal and professional relationships. Trutino endeavors to provide consistent, superior risk-adjusted returns from investing in developed global interest rate markets. The firm focuses on government bonds and repo, interest rate swaps, and fixed-income futures. Trutino launched a Cayman-domiciled commingled master-feeder Fund in August 2021, which currently has ~$37mm of capital. Trutino is the trading manager for ~$100mm of capital in the Irish-domiciled HFReu Proximus Fund, launched in August 2018. Trutino also manages two mortgage-centric SMAs with allocated capital of $420mm, launched in July 2021. The Partners have worked together in various capacities over the past two decades. Chris Brumbach, Jiayi Chen, and Chris Allen previously worked at Pine River Capital Management. Bernard Weis and Chris Brumbach previously worked as a team on the Credit Suisse Proprietary Trading Desk, and many years earlier, they worked in the same group at Merrill Lynch. All four Partners understand the products that Trutino specializes in, as they have all traded, sold, and structured various fixed-income products for institutional investors for almost their entire careers. Despite their similar backgrounds, each partner has a specific role within the organization. Chris Brumbach is the manager of the Relative Value Rates Strategy. Jiayi Chen is the manager of the Firm's mortgage market strategy. Bernard Weis is the Risk Officer. Chris Allen is the head of Business Development and Investor Relations.
