About

True Arrow Capital Management (True Arrow) was a quantitative hedge fund manager. The firm aimed to generate consistent absolute returns from a diversified set of market neutral strategies. These strategies were targeted at opportunities which existed in the relatively inefficient Asia-Pacific region. The firm's strategies originally focused on Asian markets, primarily Japan and Australia; it then shifted to focusing exclusively on China. It was founded in 2010 by Alfred Hou and Lou Constable, former colleagues at SAC Capital Management (SAC) in New York. As managing members of True Arrow, Alfred and Lou seeded the firm with their own capital and technical resources. Prior to their years at SAC, they worked at financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley and Reuters. True Arrow was most recently headquartered in San Jose, California and had offices in Westfield, New Jersey and in Shanghai, China.
