Tri Locum Partners is a New York-based hedge fund manager formed in November 2019 by Prashanth Jayaram, who previously worked as a portfolio manager at Citadel. The investment objective of its funds is to generate risk-adjusted returns in all market and economic conditions by employing a long/short strategy that aims to capitalize on innovation in the healthcare sector across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, services, and medical devices. It invests primarily in equity and equity-related securities of companies within the healthcare sector in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. In pursuit of the fund’s objective, the firm employs an investment process based on fundamental, bottom-up research to seek to identify investments that generate attractive returns while seeking to minimize risk.
