Tide Point Capital was a fundamental long/short equity hedge fund management firm launched in August 2012. The firm's objective was to produce attractive risk-adjusted returns by focusing on both capital appreciation and capital preservation. The firm invested primarily in US-listed equities, both long and short, in the consumer discretionary, industrials, materials and energy sectors. In Q3 of 2018, the firm liquidated its funds and capital was returned to investors.
