Convergence Partners is a private equity fund that invests in ICT infrastructure projects that increase the availability of communications, broadband services, and new technology offerings within Africa. Convergence Partners typically takes significant minority interests and invests according to various strategies including private equity, expansion capital, project equity into major new infrastructure projects, and development/venture capital into new early-stage ventures. The infrastructure arm of the firm focuses on investments in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors in Africa. The firm is also committed to impacting investing. Convergence Partners Investments was the first fund managed by Convergence Partners. In 2023, this vehicle was spun out of Convergence Partners as a standalone vehicle under a new management team. It rebranded to Solcon Capital and continues to invest in deep tech. Convergence Partners continues to manage private equity funds. It currently manages 2 funds Convergence Partners Communications Infrastructure Fund (CPCIF) and the Convergence Partners Digital Infrastructure Fund (CPDIF).Read more ⏷
