Silver Point is a US based private debt firm was founded by Edward Mulé and Robert O’Shea, both former partners at Goldman Sachs, who together built and ran Goldman’s special situations and distressed investing businesses, and established Goldman’s proprietary direct lending business. Building off of the experience and expertise of its founders, Silver Point is a global investor in credit markets, with an expertise in credit, distressed and special situations investing. The firm invests in diversified industry. Today, the firm manages the Flagship Hedge Funds, Distressed Opportunity Funds, which are private equity style distressed funds, and Specialty Credit Funds, which focus on performing, special-situation middle market direct lending across Europe, US.
