Established in 2012, Samsung SRA Asset Management is a real estate fund manager based in South Korea. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Life Insurance. The firm has a separate investment team from its parent company and handles acquisition and disposition activities for its parent company’s real estate portfolio. Samsung SRA Asset Management employs an array of strategies including debt, core, core-plus and opportunistic strategies and conducts acquisition, redevelopment, and active management of real estate properties in South Korea as well as in Europe and the US. The firm primarily targets commercial properties and also targets retail, industrial, apartment and hotel assets.
