Rome Capital Management is a Florida-based hedge fund management firm founded in 2016 by CEO and portfolio manager, Michael S. Rome. The firm aims to achieve absolute rates of return while minimizing the risk of capital loss. The firm offers 3 strategies, Rome Capital Investors, Rome Capital Management Long Strategy and Rome Capital Management Long Levered Strategy. The strategies seek to compound capital measured over three to five year periods. Prior to founding the firm, Michael spent 18 years at Lazard Asset Management serving as senior managing director and Lazard Freres Partner. Michael was founder and managing member of the Lazard Global Opportunities Fund, and founder and president of the Lazard Alternatives Business. Michael was also VP of equity research sales at Goldman Sachs.
