Established in 2016 by CEO and portfolio manager, Michael S. Rome, Rome Capital Management is a Florida-based hedge fund manager. The firm aims to achieve absolute rates of return while minimizing the risk of capital loss. It offers three strategies that seek to compound capital measured over three to five-year periods. Before founding the firm, Michael spent 18 years at Lazard Asset Management serving as senior managing director and Lazard Freres partner. He was the founder and managing member of Lazard Global Opportunities Fund and founder and president of the Lazard Alternatives Business. He was also a vice president of equity research sales at Goldman Sachs.
