The Riverside Company

The Riverside Company is a global fund management firm that invests in private equity and private debt. The private equity arm of the firm focused on acquiring leading small and medium-sized enterprises. The firm seeks to develop its portfolio companies using a combination of external and organic growth strategies. Riverside invests globally, with a focus on business services, education, energy, healthcare, IT, specialized manufacturing and distribution, and consumer products and services. The firm's credit platform invests in first-lien and senior secured loans along with unitranche financings and a small portion of second-lien. It will not participate in any unsecured activities. Riverside Company targets North American companies primarily involved in manufacturing, business services, consumer goods, healthcare, education and training, and software and information technology services, but may also selectively invest in Europe.
