Resource REIT, formerly known as Resource Real Estate, is a US-based real estate firm specializing in the acquisition and management of real estate assets, as well as the management of private real estate funds. Established in 1991, the firm focuses on opportunities in multi-family properties across Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia and Texas, US. Resource Real Estate is a real estate captive-arm of C-III Capital Partners. Last May 2022, Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT) announced that it has recently acquired all of the outstanding shares of Resource REIT. BREIT will acquire Resource REIT's portfolio of multi-family, garden-style assets comprised of 42 apartment communities totaling more than 12,600 units.
