It seeks to generate long-term positive returns with very low volatility and minimal correlation to the overall equity and fixed-income markets. Until late 2013, the firm focused on event-driven investments in the US equity markets with a focus on merger arbitrage and appraisal rights actions. As of late 2013, it focuses exclusively on appraisal rights actions in connection with inadequately valued cash mergers.
