ProfitScore Capital Management ('ProfitScore'), founded by John McClure (the firm's sole owner) in 1988, is a trading advisor which executes trades in managed accounts of institutional asset managers and other qualified eligible persons. The firm originates and directs quantitative investment programs, using liquid asset classes on transparent platforms. ProfitScore is not the owner, manager, or managing partner of any fund, nor does it take custody of any assets; the firm's clients choose their own custodians for their managed accounts. There is generally one executing broker for each ProfitScore program in order to simplify the equitable allocation of block trades to the account holders’ clearing brokers/custodians. ProfitScore has been a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) with the state of Idaho since 2002, with the US Securities and Exchange Commission since 2009, and has been a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission since 2015.
