About

Princeton Focused Investments was founded 2008 by Dr. Adam Berger, who previously was Director of Research and Risk Management at Mount Lucas Management Company, a billion dollar plus alternative asset management firm. Using a combination of proprietary quantitative and qualitative analysis, Dr. Berger developed a unique approach to closed-end fund arbitrage which resulted in consistent, low volatility returns with low correlation to traditional equity and fixed income markets. He holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from Yale and a Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research from Princeton University. Dr. Berger has over twenty years of investment experience. Princeton Focused Investments clients include mostly family office and high net worth investors. The firm was NFA registered and was committed to best practices in compliance and investor transparency. The firm liquidated it's remaining funds and closed in Q3 2015.
