PCP continuously screens the entire emerging market universe by sector, objectively seeking out the mispriced quoted assets, regardless of its country or sector. The firm was founded in 2001 by Douglas Polunin, Paul Parsons, Julian Garel-Jones, and Aditya Singh Mehta. Douglas, Julian, and Paul had worked together previously for 6 years at Pictet Asset Management where Douglas was head of emerging markets, Paul was head of Asia and Julian was head of Latin American investments. Aditya Singh Mehta was formerly a senior investment manager covering the EMEA region at Credit Suisse Asset Management.
