Piermont Capital Management is a Missouri-based hedge fund that was established in 2005 and has been providing investment advisory services since 2007. The firm was founded by its three principals and portfolio managers; John G. Russon, John S. Albert and Kevin A. Finn, provide asset management services for a range of institutional investors, including public, corporate and Taft-Hartley pension funds, endowments, foundations and insurance companies. The firm’s investment approach is based on the belief that significant alpha generation opportunities in the small- and mid-cap segments of equity markets can be identified through a risk-controlled and repeatable systematic processes. The firm employs multi-factor ranking models at both industry and sector levels that have been designed to consider an array of diverse factors.
