Perry Capital was a private investment firm founded in 1988 by Richard Perry. At its peak, the firm managed approximately USD 15 billion of assets in a range of event driven and multi-strategy funds. It invested across all asset classes and geographic regions focused predominantly on companies and markets undergoing significant change. The firm employed over 100 professionals and operated out of offices in both the US and UK. The firm’s partners and employees were collectively amongst the largest investors in its funds. The firm announced in September 2016 that it would be liquidating its funds and returning capital to its investors.
